Artuke 'Pies Negros' Rioja
A real belter and beauty of a wine that, again, shows a pure, fruity and uncomplicated delight that can be found in straight-forward, honest Rioja, without the need for lots of oak barrel use.
The winery is based in a small village in the Rioja Alavesa sub-zone on the river Ebro. Aged for a year in large oak barrels, the Pies Negros blends Tempranillo and Graciano to create a frest, vibrant and mineral wine with enough familiarity to really charm the socks off anyone who is suspicious of modernism.
